This weeks Travel Theme is ‘On Display‘, and I am happy to present some gorgeous, lively, and colorful displays for you from my recent time on The Amalfi Coast of Italy.
Art vendor – Positano
Ceramic shop – Ravello
Fruit on the side of the road – Amalfi Coast drive
Red peppers on the side of the road – Amalfi Coast drive. How come everything is gorgeous in Italy? Even red peppers?
Positano. Ah. Positano shopping. I came back to The Kingdom with eight new Italian dresses and three new pair of Italian shoes.
Lovely photos. They make me wish I was there. Thank you.
lovely pictures 🙂
These displays are so appealing! I want one of everything 🙂
I loved them and felt I was there!
Meg’s right- these are gorgeous Tahira, and so take me back to the last time I was in Positano (30+ years ago but it hasn’t changed so much)
Ahhh, such lovely choices. Was your suitcase stuffed on the return trip?
LOL! It was over the weight limit, Gunta. But the crazy-wonderful-sincere Italian ticket agent just waved me through without charging me additional. It truly was a trip where everything just worked out all on it’s own 🙂
Great post! I especially love that first photo, the light is so lacey.
Beautiful pictures!
Love the strong colors!
Make me long for a great trip to Italy!
Absolutely nice photos ! Wonderful. Orofiorentino from Italy
Eight new Italian dresses and three new pair of Italian shoes! You did a lot better I did, I’m so envious,Tahira!
I was just viewing again – and see I forgot to say – your first picture is just spectacularly gorgeous – a master painter dabbing with paint could not have done better. Wonderful. Nice paprikas too.
I have just recently started taking photography seriously and I am quite proud of these shots so your complimentary comment is VERY appreciated. Thank you ever so much!
Well, I have to say I never like going overboard about complimenting pictures, but this one is just so evocative – the other pictures show you have a special touch with the camera, just this one thrills the artistic senses.
