Photo of the Week: Mud of The Dead Sea ~ Jordan

From now on, each Friday (or there about), I will share a photo with you from my little adventures.

This is how they roll (in the mud) at The Dead Sea …

Mud of The Dead Sea

The Dead Sea is the lowest point on earth with the world’s riches source of natural salts & minerals that are said to have therapeutic & healing qualities…

I don’t know the science behind the claim but what I do know is that the experience was, mentally & physically, restorative & regenerating with a feeling of renewed harmony.

  1. Gorgeous pictures of this interesting region Tahira! Did you find the fountain of youth?

BTW, I think I”m an “ambivert” too. I find that after spending the day with people at work, patients, I crave solitude. For me, going for a run, alone, helps give me peace. But I’m also spending less time socializing. As one of the docs at work asked me, “don’t you just get tired of talking?”

  2. Actually, I’m not sure of the science behind it either… I only know the feeling; however ‘I’ have to purchase a jar (lol)… Fabulous photo! Love being able to live vicariously through you… wonderful journey…
