Travel theme: Delicate Parisian Macarons
Before I tried macarons in Paris, I always wondered what is the big deal people make about macarons and why do they pay so much money for them?
And then I tried some sweet, melt in your mouth, delicate macarons.
And it was over for me. The salt caramel. The coffee whiskey. Mon dieu! A love affair had begun.
Yes. They are worth every € spent
I’ve been trying to incorporate this picture for a while now. And finally I have a valid reason to post it …
A true delicate (and delectable) Eiffel Tower

Wait! Is that a Dodge minivan I see through the window behind your Eiffel tower of macarons? In Paris?
Ooooh so wonderful colourful yummies …!!
Decadent AND Delicate!
I totally agree… Delicious and beautiful post, Tahira!
But does it come in chocolate? 🙂
Such wonderful images, Tahira. Really pretty, delicate colours. 🙂
Good thing macaroons are hard to find in Chicago, my first thought with the word delicate.
Love macarons!! In Cleveland, there were some good-as-Parisian macarons, but now that I’m in the Chicago suburbs, I don’t know of any places. That may be for the best. 🙂
